Adam is also responsible for introducing new technologies into Cushcraft's wireless product line. Between 1994 and 1997, Adam was employed at Atlantic Microwave Corporation in Bolton, Massachusetts. As a project engineer and program manager, his duties included the design, development and testing of antenna systems from VHF through 50 GHz. Adam designed many unique antennas, including a reflector system capable of transmitting simultaneous frequencies of like polarization from independent transmitters. Additionally, he established solar G/T testing methods for qualification testing of final products. Adam also supervised engineers and technicians in the design and testing of monopulse and psuedo-monopulse tracking antennas. He also established the requirements for the RF instrumentation, software, and facilities for the antenna test range at Atlantic Microwave. Adam was employed by D&M/Chu Technology (formerly Chu Associates) in Littleton, MA from 1987 to 1994. As an antenna design engineer and program manager, he was directly responsible for antenna system development from project inception through final delivery. Adam designed and tested numerous antennas from 3 MHz through 20 GHz for radar, communications, Satcom, and signal ELINT systems. Applications included: shipboard, airborne, spacecraft, and ground-based systems for military and commercial use. He was also directly responsible for developing and maintaining the computer modeling capabilities at D&M/Chu. Adam developed software for multi-layer radome analysis, antenna array design, reflector analysis, slotted array design, automatic antenna testing, and computer peripheral control. Adam received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and the IEEE and is a licensed amateur radio operator (NIFXT). Ed Hammond, Manager Amateur Products Ed Hammond (WN1I) is responsible for Marketing & Sales for Cushcraft's Amateur Radio Antenna Product line.
